The Arctic and the Magical Tenojoki | Finnish Lapland (4K)
A red cabin, a road disappearing into an endless sea of trees. The vast northern wilderness of Peurasuvanto, stretching as far as the eye can see.
Two days later, farther north, the Tenojoki near Nuorgam. Late in the evening, beneath the midnight sun, with no sunset to mark the end of the day. Gliding just above the water, following the river as it winds through the Arctic landscape. A sense of freedom, stillness, and belonging that’s difficult to put into words.
These moments were captured on July 23 and 25, 2026, during my 3318 km self-supported bicycle journey from Hungary to Vardø, Norway - 17 days of riding and two rest days.
The North still calls me back — to melt into the natural world we came from.
